Terms of Use
These terms govern the AMBIENT informational website. The downloadable benchmark is open-source software governed by its repository license and applicable third-party notices.
Using the site
You may browse and link to this site for lawful purposes. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, misuse provider infrastructure, or use the site to violate another person’s rights.
Software license
AMBIENT’s original software and documentation are offered under the MIT License. That license—not these website terms—grants permission to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell copies of the software subject to its notice requirement.
Third-party datasets, model services, adapters, generated media, and other separately identified materials retain their own licenses and terms. Review Third-party notices and corpus licenses before redistribution.
Hosted and local runs
You may download AMBIENT from GitHub and run it on infrastructure you control. Model access, charges, quotas, and compliance with your providers’ terms are your responsibility; the benchmark does not promise a particular model’s availability or price.
A participant who submits a bundle is responsible for its contents. The submission endpoint certifies uploaded artifacts; it does not authenticate to, upload code into, or administer the participant's memory system, and it executes nothing contained in a bundle.
Space-run artifacts are temporary and unreviewed. Nothing is published automatically. A row appears only when a participant uploads an evidence bundle and every certifier check passes.
Benchmark results
Results are measurements under declared configurations, not certifications, endorsements, or guarantees of production performance. Do not present mock-reader, mock-judge, deterministic diagnostic, or failed-integrity output as a comparative quality result. Publication claims should retain the manifests, traces, uncertainty, and limitations required by the evaluation protocol.
Sharing results
By submitting a bundle you confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to publish every included file, that the bundle contains no credentials or unlawfully disclosed personal information, and that its declared configuration and results are materially accurate. A certified bundle is hosted publicly as evidence beside its row; certification is a mechanical check, not an endorsement.
No warranties
The site and benchmark are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or error-free operation. They are research and engineering tools, not legal, medical, financial, security, or compliance advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the authors and maintainers are not liable for claims, damages, losses, provider charges, data loss, or other liability arising from use of the site, software, benchmark results, or linked services. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
External services and changes
GitHub, Vercel, Supabase, Google Fonts, model providers, and linked projects are independent services governed by their own terms. We may update or discontinue the website and revise these terms. Material revisions will carry a new effective date.
